The reef changes completely after dark. Corals open up, octopus and lobsters come out to hunt, and with a bit of luck you'll see the water light up with bioluminescence. Book a private night dive and explore it at your own pace, with a dedicated guide who knows exactly where to point the torch.
Bonaire's East Coast is known for its untouched reefs and breathtaking dive sites, but it takes planning to get there. Conditions depend on the wind, so we can't guarantee every trip, but August to October is usually the calmest time.
